My name is Eva and I’m a bookaholic. I also really like white wine and boots. Not necessarily in that order.

I live in Belgium but dream of moving to Tuscany. I’m married to a man who doesn’t understand how people read for fun and have a 13 year old Maltese who can’t read but I’m sure she wishes she could, considering she frequently has a paw on a page when I’m trying to read.

I read a lot of crime fiction, psychological thrillers and police procedurals. Once in a while, I will throw in some historical fiction or women’s literature. I do not read science-fiction, fantasy, horror, erotica or anything to do with vampires or zombies.

When I’m not reading a book, I’m probably watching a movie or indulging in some Netflix bingeing. Or do that pesky social thing 😉

I also try to study Italian, learn how to draw something more complicated than a stick figure and I’m a huge fan of retail therapy.

Unless otherwise stated, the reviews I post are of books I’ve bought myself. I don’t get paid for doing these. They’re an archive for myself and if someone finds something they enjoy based on what I shared, then that’s a bonus. All links to amazon are only provided to be helpful.
