Spotlight on : ‘Conviction’ by Jack Jordan

Today I’m shining a spotlight on Jack Jordan’s upcoming release ‘Conviction‘, which is due June 22nd.

If you’re not familiar with Jack Jordan, where the heck have you been? He is a wonderful author and also, a quite wonderful person. Likes to laugh, likes his bubbles and dogs. I mean, who doesn’t? 🥂

Did I mention he writes fab books? Thrillers with moral dilemmas at their heart that will make you think and wonder what you would do. Case in point, his previous novel ‘Do No Harm‘. You can read my thoughts about ‘Do No Harm‘ right here.

Waterstones even picked the paperback as its thriller of the month for April. That’s a big deal, you guys! So if you haven’t yet read it, you are obviously missing out and I just know you are about to correct the error of your ways by purchasing a copy right now.

But today, we are here to talk about Jack Jordan’s new book ‘Conviction‘. I’m excited! You should be too! This is going to be great. I can just feel it in my bones.

Just look at that cover! Pretty darn brilliant, don’t you think?

| ABOUT THE BOOK |

Wade Darling stands accused of killing his wife and teenage children as they slept before burning the family home to the ground.

When the case lands on barrister Neve Harper’s desk, she knows it could be the career making case she’s been waiting for. But only if she can prove Wade’s innocence.

A matter of days before the case, as Neve is travelling home for the night, she is approached by a man. He tells her she must lose this case or the secret about her own husband’s disappearance will be revealed.

Failing that, he will kill everyone she cares about until she follows orders.

Neve must make a choice – betray every principle she has ever had by putting a potentially innocent man in prison, or risk putting those she loves in mortal danger.

Oooh, the master of the moral dilemma strikes again!

I know you want to find out more so why not go ahead and preorder your copy already. ‘Conviction‘ will be published in hardback, ebook and audiobook formats on June 22nd.

Need more convincing? Here are some early quotes from some other favourite authors.

‘No one crafts a dilemma quite like Jack Jordan. ‘Conviction’ is a tour de force of a legal thriller that will have you guessing at every turn and then gasping when the plot inevitably catches you unawares. His characters are beautifully and shockingly flawed yet so vividly drawn you just can’t help investing in them – and if you’re anything like I was, you’ll be swept away on a thrilling ride that starts from the very first page’ Janice Hallett

‘A masterclass in misdirection. Smart, stylish, taut and twisting. ‘Conviction’ is Jack Jordan’s best yet’ Chris Whitaker

‘I loved every minute of this thrilling read. It combines the best of Sarah Vaughan and John Grisham: immersive, visual writing with twist after twist turning the screw tighter with ever page. Take a bow Jack “jeopardy” Jordan’ Jo Callaghan

This brilliant trailer is my final attempt at convincing you to preorder ‘Conviction‘ right now! (bloody hope this thing works 😳)

| ABOUT THE AUTHOR |

Jack Jordan is the global bestselling author of Anything for Her, My Girl, A Woman Scorned, Before Her Eyes, and Night by Night and an Amazon No.1 bestseller in the UK, Canada, and Australia. After selling at auction in the UK and numerous foreign territories, Do No Harm is set to be the thriller of the summer in 2022. The idea for Do No Harm came to Jack after undergoing a minor medical procedure where he had to be sedated and trust strangers with his welfare. After the anaesthesia wore off, Jack began scribbling his notes, wondering to himself just how iron-clad a surgeon’s oath is, and what it would take to break it…

I’ve not read anything by Jack Jordan, but it sounds like an author I need to try. Wonderful review, Eva. I do enjoy a good legal thriller and this sounds like it will fit that bill wonderfully.
