And that’s a wrap for … March

2023 obviously didn’t get the “onwards and upwards” memo I sent out at the end of February. The hits just keep on coming and I might have to hang a padlock on the wine fridge before I end up with a drinking problem for real.

I also need to apologise for the lack of interactions last month. My MacBook died and I found myself forced to use the hubby’s craptastic Windows laptop for a while, and I nearly pulled out all of my hair in the process. I missed comments and the like, for which many thanks as they’re always appreciated, but I won’t be catching up. Instead I shall look forward.

Also, in March, we celebrated Millie’s second Gotcha Day! And by celebrated, I mean she spent the entire day sleeping because that’s just the party animal she is. But she did have fun in the snow, though.

Right, in an effort to ignore all the other Shitty McShittiness I won’t get into right now, let’s focus on the books.

BOOKS I READ IN MARCH

Not quite the ten I was aiming for but … well, there’s a lot of tennis to watch and I can’t do both 💁🏼‍♀️.

BOOK OF THE MONTH

That is an impossible choice to make! As it is, I’m going to seriously struggle to pick a book of the year in December. Here are three more contenders.

I definitely recommend all three of these!

BOOKS I BOUGHT IN MARCH

Not bad, could be better. I will keep trying. *snort*

RECEIVED FOR REVIEW

With thanks to the fabulous publishers!

ON THE BLOG IN MARCH

Looks like things will be remain this … erm … productive 😳

And that’s a wrap! I’m off to buy a helmet so I’m prepared for whatever April throws at me. Hope the month treats you all well. Until next time! xx

Happy second gotcha-day to Milly! Did we have snow last month? I can’t even remember that! I’m intrigued by Strange Sally Diamond, I might have to add at least one. I also received The Trap for review and I hope you’re as excited as I am to dive in. I hope April will treat you better!

I don’t know if you did 😄 (my dad didn’t and he’s less than half an hour away so) but we did, yes. It only lasted a day though. You can already see it turning into mush in that picture there.

It was gone in less than a day so really not worth the excitement (or lack thereof) but Millie definitely made the most of it!

      The bow is adorable. 😍

Did you request Ambrose Parry? I decided not to since I own all the other ones and I’m allergic to incomplete series 😂.

She loves it. Shame, for her, that there was so little of it but she made the most of it 😊

Thanks for my Millie fix💜 Yikes! Mac to Windows? That’s like trying to write with your left hand when you’re right-handed. Better month April will be (says Yoda)!

Millie looks so happy, thanks for sharing that pic. I’m sorry your March was craptastic. I know what it is like to be without your technology (although I was without my windows laptop when mine had issues 😁). It looks like you got some great books though. I hope April is a wonderful month.

I remember and you were without your laptop for a lot longer than I was too! It’s all about what we’re used to, isn’t it? I’ve always had a windows PC and then I switched and never looked back.
