Some of my most anticipated books of 2022

I have such a love/hate relationship with these lists. Sure, it’s fun to see what’s around the corner. One must at all times be prepared, surely. And one should definitely make sure not to lose track of new releases from favourite authors. But I’m not a very patient person. Scratch that, when they handed out the patience skill, they skipped me completely. So when I look at the goodies on the list here, all I can think is I want them NOW, GIMME! Whilst obviously all the way ignoring the teetering TBR pile behind me. As you do.

*ahem*

This list is by no means complete. There is A LOT coming! I probably missed some, completely forgot some and there are probably some that haven’t been announced yet. There will be new books by Louise Beech, Michael Malone, Alafair Burke, Samantha Downing, Ruth Ware, Peter Swanson and Helen Fields even has two books coming out (One For Sorrow in March, The Last Girl to Die in September) but I couldn’t list everything. As it is, I intended to stop this list in June but then noticed some really exciting ones after that and I just had to keep going. Anywho!

Listed by publication day for hardback format, as that is my own preferred format, with links to Goodreads if you want to find out more about them.

Let’s go!

So many to look forward to on this list, Eva. I wonder how many I will actually get the chance to read?

Lots of great looking books there. I’m looking forward to Sharon Bolton’s book, though I have to read the first one before the second comes out.

There are some great books here! Undecided as to whether or not to do one of these posts myself…

My heart just skipped a beat when I realized that there is a new Beartown novel by Fredrik Backman. Can’t wait! He is one of my most favourite authors! Thanks!

I have NetGalleys of The Leviathan and The Clockwork Girl, and I suppose I better try to finally read The Craftsman before book 2 comes out! Happy reading!

I have an ARC of The Leviathan as well but I’m already behind on my January ARC reading so I’m not holding out much hope of reading that one on time 🙄.

Yes to The Craftsman. Although, this sequel has been postponed so often (it was due late 2019) that I won’t believe it’s been published until I can hold it in my hands.
