One does and one doesn’t tbh. I love the sound of Magpie Lane. I haven’t read this author yet so I’ll have to put it on my list! I better steer clear of the first because I DNF his first novel a few years ago which is a sign that it isn’t the author for me. Although you almost make me want to give him a second chance 😉
