Bit of a blur again, this past week. I can’t quite figure out how April is almost over. This year is flying!
Spent the Easter weekend socialising (ugh), drinking wine (yay) and enjoying the warm sunshine (woohoo). Then I decided to see what the fuss about “Line of Duty” was about so I hit up Netflix and started watching. About halfway through the second episode, I realised I was watching season 3 because for some reason our Netflix doesn’t have the show from the start. But by that time, I was already so hooked on it that I kept watching. I’m now trying to stay away from all things spoilers until my box set arrives. Between that, The Avengers Endgame and Game of Thrones, I may just have to avoid the internet altogether.
Why am I telling you all this? Well, because obviously that had an impact on my reading. As you will see below.
BOOKS I READ THIS WEEK
Oops. Oh well, I’m so ahead of my May schedule that I’m really not bothered. And I’m quite enjoying reading some books from my ever-growing TBR instead of books for blog tours all the time.
BOOKS I BOUGHT THIS WEEK
Just these two. Although I’m running out of space on my shelves. I did tell myself to read a few books first and then buy new ones. Then I laughed.
BOOK POST THAT LANDED ON MY DOORSTEP THIS WEEK

With thanks to Atlantic. Review coming in May on the blog tour.

I could get used to a schedule like this. ๐

That’s it for another week. Time to tackle some reviews. Wishing you all a great week and lots of happy reading! Until next time! xx
I came to Line of Duty late (as I usually do). I started with series 4 and then after that went back and watched series 1. Still have 2 and 3 to watch after 5 has finished. It’s incredible though, so gripping. And I have a bit of a thing for Ted ๐

I’m still behind on my May blog tour reading so kudos to you! I’ve just struggled my way through writing a review (god so much brain fog ๐ฉ) and this afternoon will be me reading. And maybe possibly taking a little nap ๐ Have a good one, Eva (a.k.a. no socialising and lots of wine ๐)

I hear you on the brain fog. I’m in that place where I can barely remember what a book is, never mind what it was about ๐

I’ve written two reviews to schedule for next week because my hubby has a week’s holiday so I don’t think I’ll be able to draft many posts while he’s off. Hope you manage to avoid all the spoilers!

I just wrote two reviews myself. I should ideally do two more but it’s 4pm and I’m dying to get to my next book. Hope you have some fun things planned while the hubby is off work!

So pleased you are enjoying Line of Duty. I have to wait a week to see each episode. It was so enjoyable to binge watch all the series before that though. It also impacted my reading!
Your schedule for next week makes up for last week’s busy one. Glad you are enjoying reading your choice of books instead of blog tours. Go you for being so ahead.
Amanda xx

That’s my plan for when my box set arrives. Binge-watch from the beginning! I’m still remarkably spoiler free so far!

I’ll be looking forward to your thoughts on Night By Night! ๐ Also, I haven’t been able to watch Game Of Thrones yet so I’ve be trying to avoid going too much on Social Media to avoid spoilers… It has been tricky but so far I haven’t run across anything mayor. Have a wonderful week! xx
