Weekly Wrap-Up (February 4)

weekly-wrap-up

February! I thought you’d never get here! So good to see you! This is usually the time I start my countdown to Spring. So of course the universe is rubbing my nose into the fact that it’s not here for a while yet by plummeting the temperatures and dropping all sorts of things from the grey skies that bear no resemblance to Spring or sunshine at all. Rude.

This week … hm, least said, probably. Bit of a turbulent one that even impacted my reading. I know, I know, five isn’t so bad but still. I’m way behind on blog tour reading and close to a panic attack. May need to look up some breathing exercises. 😄

Books I read this week

Books I bought this week

Wait for it!

Waait fooor iiiiit!

….

NONE!

I don’t know who’s more shocked. You or me. 😄

Tuesday : Shared my review for Thirteen by Steve Cavanagh

Wednesday : Oops. I seem to have skipped a day. Shame on me.

Thursday : Hosted a stop on the blog tour for Black Heart by Anna-Lou Weatherley

Friday : Reviewed And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie

Saturday : Joined the blog tour for Forget Her Name by Jane Holland

Sunday : Cover reveal for Call To Arms by Rachel Amphlett

Next week on Novel Deelights

Utter mayhem! I kid. It’s not so bad. As long as I finish the books on time, that is. Eek. I’ll be on blog tours for Past Echoes by Graham Smith, 66 Metres by J.F. Kirwan, Little Liar by Claire Boyd and The Perfect Stranger by Megan Miranda. Breathe, breathe. I got this.

Also, apologies for lack of sharing on Twitter this past week. I’m forcing myself to stay away from social media as much as possible since I’m so behind on my blog tour reading commitments. Hopefully normal service will resume soon.

That’s it for another week. How has your week been? Read anything good I should know about? Let me know! Have a great one and happy reading! xx

It’s been horrible, hasn’t it? I don’t mind a cold and crisp day if the sun is out but all that miserable weather seems to make winter last even longer than it already does.

Good luck on getting all your reading done on time then give yourself a break…for about ten minutes probably until you pick up the next book, lol.

Tsk tsk, want to change weather? I’m currently melting due to a stubborn heatwave that is going to last until Friday… I don’t like the cold, but I’m read to face it if it means getting rid of the heat. 😉 Good luck with the blog tours! I’ll be keeping my fingers crossed for you. The Perfect Stranger is such a great read by the way; I just love her thrillers. ❤

I wish I could teleport it to you… I hate the cold, but I’m starting to realize I hate 35+°C temperatures more. xD

I’m impressed by your restraint in not buying any books! I’ve wanted to read Before We Were Yours as well. It sounds really good.

I look forward to your review of Little Liar. I read the book over the weekend and really liked it. I tried to read Before We Were Yours a while back but just couldn’t get into it. The beginning felt a little too slow for me. How was it? Would you recommend it?

Enjoy your books this week and all the best with the tours.

I do recommend it. Wonderful story but I did enjoy the chapters set in the past a lot more than the ones in the present.
