Weekly Wrap Up (July 2)

Another week bites the dust and with it, the entire month of June which is quite frankly just a huge blur. Lots of stress, mini blogger freak-outs, too much comfort eating resulting in gaining weight and so I’m not exactly in my happy place. Still, I have now started my official two month countdown to Tuscany and I absolutely cannot wait!

Books I read this week :

Erm, four. This is just pathetic. 😄

Books I bought this week :

Technically none as this was a pre-order. No, I’m not running a fever. Yes, I checked. And I did look to buy books but since our discussion last week on the high kindle ebook prices, I’ve become more “economic”. 😉

ARC’s received via Netgalley :

Again, none. I do have three requests pending though.

This week’s book post :

With massive thanks to Karen Sullivan at Orenda Books.

On the blog this past week :

Monday : Hosted a stop on the blog tour for The Betrayed

Tuesday : I was on the blog tour for That One May Smile and welcomed back Christine with her review of Edna & Luna

Wednesday : Another blog tour, this time for We Have Lost the Coffee

Thursday : On the blog tour for the delightful Curves, Kisses and Chocolate Ice Cream and I shared my review for After I’ve Gone

Friday : I shared my review for Sweet Little Lies and Christine shared her thoughts on The Widow of Wall Street

Saturday : Finally able to post my review for the brilliant Enter the Dark on the blog tour

Sunday : Hosted the blog tour for The Man Upstairs and posted my weekly wrap up.

Next week on noveldeelights :

Next week, I’ll be hosting stops on the blog tours for Hunting Angels, 66 Metres and The Stolen Girls as well as joining in on Lesley Pearse’s “25 in 25” when I’ll also be sharing my review for her latest book The Woman in the Wood.

In other news, I read 30 books in June. All in all, that’s not too shabby. And my Book of the Month is :

That’s a wrap. I shall now nap my afternoon away as I’m obviously getting way too old for late night parties. 😴

Have a wonderful week and happy reading! xx

I’m still totally flabbergasted! But I’ll have you know, I’ve gone over that already this week 😉

Great wrap up, Dee. I read four books in the whole month so four in a week is outstanding.

Sometimes life just gets in the way, doesn’t it? I’m doing better this week though!

Lucky you for getting a copy of The Other Twin! I’m dying to read that one. And four is still more than I was able to read last week haha. xD

Tuscany!! How exciting, you’ll have to share more about your future trip there later. Your bad week is better than any of my good weeks! You had an awesome month 🙂
Looking forward to The Other Twin review!

Oh, I will definitely share some of my trip. I take a lot of pictures!

My review for The Other Twin is coming on the 16th for the blog tour so still a bit of a wait. I’m still fiddling with it. Sometimes it’s so hard to get it right.

This week is much better, thank you! The idea of going on holiday soon is helping. I’m actually looking forward to being disconnected from the internet and having bad phone reception 😄
