Weekly Wrap Up (June 11)

Hot! Hot! Hot! Spent yesterday with family and am now rocking the red-lobster-tan like you wouldn’t believe! Other than that, my week’s been pretty uneventful. Not complaining! So I managed another 8 books.

Books I read this week :

Books I bought this week :

Three. Again. I swore, also again, I wouldn’t buy any this week. Maybe I should say I’ll buy 3 and end up with nothing. Reverse psychology. Worth a try?

ARC’s received via Netgalley :

After not having any last week, I figured I was allowed to go a little request happy.

This week’s book post :

Received from Accent Press for a blog tour in August. I love me some Tudor era stuff so I’m incredibly excited to read this one!

On the blog this past week :

Another busy week. Still loving every minute of it!

Monday : Extract for A Daughter’s Courage blog tour

Tuesday : Q&A with Katharine Johnson for The Silence blog tour and my  Review for Follow You by Richard Parker

Wednesday : The Eyes of the Accused blog tour and This Week in Books

Thursday : Review for The Serial Killer’s Daughter

Friday : Reviewed The Weight of Lies and Look Behind You

Saturday : Christine returned to the blog with a review for Vigilante by Kerry Wilkinson

Sunday : Review for The Last Night by Cesca Major and the Weekly Wrap Up

Next week on noveldeelights :

I’ll be hosting stops on three more blog tours for Shadows, Promised Lies and He Made Me. There will be some stuff in between as soon as I figure out what that will be. Ha!

In other news : Massive congratulations to those who won at the Blogger Bash Awards yesterday! Fabulous to see some winners I actually voted for! I didn’t win in my category (sniff 😄) but I want to thank everyone who voted for me! I really appreciate it! 💕

Hope you all have fantabulous week! Happy reading! xx

  1. I like the sound of Curves and Kisses. I look forward to your review on that one. I think you can read so many books in 1 week, that you can request and buy more anyway. You get through so many of them. Well done for the nomination of the blogger awards, that in itself is pretty huge.
Have a good reading week again.

  2. The Other Girl looks like something that I need to read! I’ve requested The Good Widow, so I hope it is on my shelves next week 🙂 I’m so sorry about your sunburn! That is the worst! I’m headed to sit on the beach in a little bit and will be doing all I can to avoid becoming a lobster…ouch!! I wanted to let you know that I nominated you for the Real Neat Blog Award; here is the link for the award on my blog https://stephsfictionandfamilylove.wordpress.com/2017/06/11/real-neat-blog-award/! Take your time with it since there is no rush 🙂

      1. Oh no!! I hate when that happens! I hope it’s not hurting 😕 That’s the worst thing about a sunburn! Luckily, I didn’t burn or tan at all, lol! I was so worried I used spf 70!

          1. Wow! You sound like me, lol!! I ended up tripping out of my flip flops and twisting my ankle walking back from the beach. I’m sorry you banged your head! I hope it’s not hurting as badly now!

              1. Thanks! No, it’s not too bad. It was a bit swollen last night, but ice and rest helped. I’ve spent the day in the pool and away from the beach, lol! I’m clumsy by nature! We do make a pair 😃

  3. I would take that lobster tan just to trade the weather! It’s seriously cold down here and it’s not even winter yet. (Today the minimum is 0ºC; shudder) xD I have a copy of The Other Girl waiting to be read as well! And I love Sue Watson’s covers… I might just get one of them to forget about winter haha. I hope you will have a great week and happy reading! ❤

    1. To be fair, one of them only took me 2 hours as it was really short. 😄

I get twitchy if I can’t read much. I’ve not read since Friday evening and it’s driving me crazy! Although I’m not sure if I can keep up this 8 book a week pace I’ve someone found myself in. I may need to actually do some household stuff at some point, I think 😉
