I want to make my husband fall back in love with me.
Let me explain. This isn’t an exercise in 1950s wifeydom. I haven’t been reading articles in old women’s magazines. ‘Twenty ways to keep your man’. That couldn’t be further from the truth.
I want him to fall back in love with me so that when I tell him to get the hell out of my life he’ll care. He won’t just think, ‘Oh good’.
I want it to hurt.
I needed something a bit different after reading numerous crime and psychological thrillers and this looked perfect.
Paula finds out her actor husband is having an affair with a co-star. Her plan is to make her husband fall in love with her again so she can break his heart.
What follows is a bunch of twists. I really couldn’t see where this story would end up. Fun (may have chuckled out loud a few times), entertaining, light and, I felt, a satisfying ending. Just what I needed. 4*
Yes your reviews were a bit shorter back then. (I was expecting years ago not this year!). Your blog has exploded if you’ve only been blogging for this short time! I assumed you had been at this for ages.
Glad you enjoyed the book. I’m just over half way through and liking it so far.
Amanda.
